Death Cab for Cutie

         Just a little bit less amazing than Gotye, is Death Cab for Cutie. The first song of them that I heard was "I'll follow you into the dark". A very sad song about a couple. Ever since the year 2011 I've been a bit, you can say "obsessed". But in my own way. If you ever have the chance look them up on YouTube. They are worth listening to, because most like me can relate to some of their music. It's always good to listen to new music, you never know if you'll like it.

       If I were you I would listen to them because their music speaks. Unlike others. So give them a chance or "I'll follow you into the dark". <------- I made a joke.

My insperation

       As most of you don't know. The most important reason why I'm writing this blog is because of my favorite artist, Gotye. He is the reason why I appreciate indie music so much.

      Gotye's newest album is Making Mirrors( the first album I actually bought). The album features my favorite song by him "Eyes Wide Open", and much more popular song "Somebody that I used to know". Like a true artist he writes his own music, which I love. He is not fake, and doesn't write about drugs, violence, and you know the other one. He is true. What do you think about Gotye? Share your opinion below. If you do like Gotye make sure to listen to "Eyes wide open" it's an amazing song. A little bit depressing but amazing.

Hi-ya there

       Welcome to indie symphony! In this blog, I am going to express to you my interests in indie music. Obviously, indie is my number one choice in genre. Otherwise I wouldn't be making my blog about it. Anyways, in this blog(the one your reading right now) I will review and blog about my favorite indie music artists. Some of these artists will include Gotye, Mumford and Sons, and Grizzly Bear. Just to name a few.

      For those of you who don't like indie music(aka haters). I hope that with this blog(my blog) I can change your opinion about the genre. Or at least get you to like one song, or artist. You might not like it now, but with a few reads Im sure your opinion will change. I'm positive ill change your mind. If I don't then what are you doing reading my blog. You obviously have an interest in it, so why not be a little open minded about the beauty of the music.

      In conclusion, I'll be blogging every week. Mostly on Saturdays or Sundays. I hope you stay tuned in with my blog. It is worth it, because you too can express your opinion. I am always open to comments. And remember you are what you listen to.
