Born Ruffians

      One of my new favorite Canadians are Born Ruffians. With songs like "What to say" and one of their new songs "With her shadow", this indie band is making their way to the top. With their catchy tunes and simple style they are going to be heard. The songs on their new album are a bit depressing but in a not so depressing kid of way. To me their music is a bit ahead of time (like most indie music is). Since they are an indie rock band their music has a kick to it. Keep a look out for some songs on their new album called "Birthmarks".

Lorde

          Many of you may know her from he hit single "Royals". So do I. Lorde is a new artist that i found two months ago. She was featured as Vh1's artist of the month for her song "Royals". She is only sixteen, and already has a number one single. That's really good, for her age. She also has many other songs like "White teeth teens", and "Tennis Court".

          Since she is so unique, and her voice is deep and amazing, i think she isn't going to be a one hit wonder. This is not going to be the last time we hear from her. With that voice, she's not going anywhere.
